Updated puppy page!!

Welcome to TDT Great Danes. We are located in North Pole, Alaska. We strive for versatile danes. Ones that not only look pretty & meet the standard, but ones that function. We compete in conformation with Gelly. Chaos will be competing in Agility and Obedience in 2009.
Our danes are not kennel dogs, they are part of our family. We include them in as much as we can. Temperament is a #1 thing for us no exceptions! As you can see above and on other pages, our dogs have supreme temperaments. To see pictures of them with our family at the lake click here.

We are members of the Great Dane Club of Mat-Su Alaska and the Great Dane Club of America.

Our danes are fed the Blackwatch Feeding Program, designed by Linda Arndt. Linda has done a great job with designing this program and I recommend that all dane owners look into Blackwatch's Feeding Program. Our danes grown slow and steady. Cheyenne had a great coat & very tight joints at 8 years old. Oscar has a great shinny coat and has never had any growing pains, which for giant breed dogs is very rare! Since Gelly has been on it her coat is also very shinny and smooth.

Health tests. I am a health test nut. All dogs that are owned by TDT Danes will have all their required tests to obtain their CHIC number, prior to being bred. Gelly has her CHIC number and Oscar only needs her cardio screening to obtain his CHIC number, though he will never be bred I feel it is important for him to be part of the database. I am a strong believer in a good foundation. I understand that some breeder/owners do not feel the need to do all these tests, so we may use an outside stud who has minimum of hips certified and has come from health tested lines. I encourage everyone to do their home work, even if looking for a pet puppy. The old adage is true, you get what you pay for...
